ASTRO

The near future technology explosion has entered humanity into the space age. As humans depart from earth, the bring warfare with them, battling in utter weightlessness. Astro is a multiplayer first person movement shooter in zero gravity. Two teams of five compete in space using high tech mechanics to move swiftly, eliminate their enemies, and tackle a variety of objectives. Each player can select a primary and secondary weapon, as well as a movement gadget. While Astro features many game modes, the flagship mode is orb, a CTF-like game where each team possesses an orb and tries to take the enemies’ orb to unite with their own. The orbs are held by players and are in motion at all times. The goal of Astro is to bring the experience of zero gravity movement to the fps scene while accommodating the widest range of interests, playstyles, and competitiveness to create an exciting experience.
